In 2026, our nation reaches an extraordinary milestone—250 years of the American story. The Elgin History Museum invites you to commemorate this once-in-a-generation anniversary at the Museum Gala, an evening of celebration and community pride.
Enjoy dinner, drinks and entertainment all while supporting the Museum. Cocktail reception, cash bar, buffet dinner, and a silent auction. Live auction with special guest auctioneer Steve Thoren! The live auction will include fabulous trips, one-of-a-kind Elgin experiences, and dinner and a show package.
The evening will feature a stirring performance by the Illinois Brass Band, filling the ballroom with the bold sound of American celebration.
